Thanks to a generous donation from Leopold’s Ice Cream in Savannah, we were able to deliver almost 2,000 books to Fort Stewart today. These books will be distributed through Morale, Welfare and Recreation to each of the kids ages 3-8 in the Child Development Centers on both Ft. Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield.
One of our foundation’s aims is to raise awareness of kids with disabilities. We can’t wait for the young children of our nation’s service members to dig in to the books!
Huge thanks to Leopold’s and also the staff at MWR Ft. Stewart for making this happen!
The campers at Camp Trach Me Away in Rutledge, GA, each received their own copy of Jeremiah Justice Saves the Day after hearing the story read by author, Melissa Miles. Thanks to generous donors, we were able to provide these copies at no cost to the camp. We can’t thank you enough. The kids loved the story! Pashowww!!

Covid-19 has surely given us pause, but we’ve been working behind the scenes. We were able to donate copies of Jeremiah Justice to all the campers of Camp Trach Me Away again this summer. The camp was virtual, but still great fun for the campers. We received the amazing news that our amazingly talented illustrator Rashad Doucet will illustrate our next book in 2021!! We are SO EXCITED that he’s making time in his incredibly busy schedule, and we are so grateful he loves the project as much as we do.
